NFC (near field communication) is a wireless technology that allows for the transfer of data between two NFC enabled devices.
A typical example of NFC is contactless payment.
Storing information on the NFC tag means that any NFC enabled device will be able to read and understand the data.
This is great for customer engagement, like replacement of the Loyalty card. And for enabling staff entrance to the company's premises.
In the use case of health data, the issuing body of the health certificate issues that document by way of a QR-code. That QR-code is then stored in a digital wallet on a user’s smartphone or printed on paper.
The QR-code can be 'copied' (encoded) onto an encrypted NFC tag which then holds the health certificate.
The integration in a Zpritzi enables users easy and instant hand or surface cleaning plus added functionality.
